The Founders
Influencing was founded by Phil and Donna Sim. Chief Executive Phil Sim was an award-winning technology journalist and then publisher, working for global technology and business publishing firm IDG Communications. His experiences working as a journalist and with the public relations community inspired him to found ITJourno, a site for technology journalists and then its sister site MediaConnect in 2000. In 2017, those services came together under the Influencing banner. Phil is responsible for strategy, partnerships and product management. Donna Sim is general manager, with oversight for the company's backend functions including finance, administration and human resources, as well as managing the company's events business.

Smooth operations
Our operations team is headed up by Chief Operations Officer, Craig Daveson.
Community manager Elliott Richardson is responsible for editorial and community initiatives, and is also the host of the Influencing Insider webinar program.
Craig Jackson heads up our media monitoring operations, while Nathan Kwok is our financial chief.
Max Kolmogorov is our Chief Technology Officer and heads up our engineering and development team.
