MIB seeks AI platform for multilingual translation and voice localisation

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is looking for an Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) platform as a service for multilingual translation and voice localisation.   The New Media Wing of the ministry has circulated a ‘Request for Expression of Interest’ (REoI).   “The Ministry of I&B plays a significant role in the dissemination of information on key policy initiatives of the Government through various modes of communication and integrating various media campaigns for better outreach and impact. Five weeks of protests triggered by the Aug 9 rape-murder at the RG Kar hospital in Kolkata, Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee yielded to the protesting junior doctors' demands for the removal of four top officials including Kolkata police commissioner Vineet Goyal.
