Case filed against journalists over alleged misleading reporting

A case has been registered against journalists in Nagpur for allegedly circulating misleading footage related to an explosives recovery incident.
As per Nagpur Today, a bag containing gelatin sticks and detonators was found in a residential area under the jurisdiction of Ganeshpeth Police Station, triggering panic among residents. Police and forensic teams rushed to the spot and seized the explosives.
However, during the coverage, some news channels reportedly aired visuals claiming the incident had taken place in another locality. Police have termed the visuals misleading, stating that such reporting could have caused confusion and tension.
