MP High Court grants anticipatory bail to Ratlam reporter

The Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court has granted anticipatory bail to Ratlam-based reporter Rafiq Khan.
The case goes back to June 2025, when GRP Head Constable Mahendra Tiwari fined an auto driver near Ratlam Railway Station. Later, he saw a YouTube video that made it appear as though he was taking a bribe. He complained that the video was edited to harm his reputation, and the police filed a case against Khan.
Khan told the court that he did not edit the video and only recorded what he saw. He also said he had earlier complained about the behaviour of some GRP staff, and the case against him was meant to trouble him.
