Today’s Ten: Jammu and Kashmir polls: So far, so good

Peerzada Ashiq of The Hindu noted that "enthusiastic voters formed long queues early in the morning at most polling booths across the 26 constituencies." While the highest voting percentage of 74.7 per cent was recorded in Reasi district, the capital Srinagar recorded just 29.81 per cent polling, showing a marginal increase from the 27 per cent in the 2014 assembly elections.
Recording the reluctance of the voters in Srinagar, Peerzada also spoke to several residents who remained unenthusiastic about the polls and what change they could bring to them.
