Following a campaign by Zee 24 TAAS against Wikipedia for hosting derogatory content on  Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, which sparked an outcry, authorities took swift action within  hours.    The blockbuster success of Chhawa, has renewed admiration for the legacy of Chhatrapati  Sambhaji Maharaj's legacy and exposed inaccurate Wikipedia content.      Zee 24 TAAS campaign sparked widespread outrage across Maharashtra, uniting political  leaders who lodged formal complaints and amplified calls for action. Responding to the issue,  Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis ordered an inquiry and issued a formal notice to Wikipedia for  immediate correction.

  Ben Vertigan, 17, has officially launched his radio career at Warrnambool’s 3YB FM/COAST FM following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, Radio Info reported. Ben’s father Jon Vertigan is a 16-time ACRA award winner and the ACE Radio Metro content director. His grandfather John Vertigan is a legendary broadcaster with 53 years in the industry known for his time at 3UZ and 3UZ/Sport 927. Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) is implementing a round of redundancies today, with affected employees having already been notified by their direct managers. CEO John Kelly informed staff of these cuts in an internal email, seen by Mumbrella. Impacted are some regional breakfast shows as well as metro 2Day FM, Hit Network and Triple M which will be losing staff including well known and popular presenters like Luke Bona. There are many who believe with some justification that print, and especially regional newspapers, are dying a death and indeed many long-standing local newspapers are no more, but ACM's announcment today that it's launching weekend newspapers across 14 mastheads shows a lot of faith in the printed product from the country's largest regional publisher.  The new weekend newspapers serve Goulburn, Bega Valley, Port Macquarie, Foster and Tuncurry, Batemans Bay, Bowral, Armidale, Griffith, Leeton, Mudgee, Nowra, Taree, Kempsey and Lithgow. ACM said the 14 mastheads have a deep connection to those communities, in many cases having served them as mid-week publications for over a century.
