AI and podcasts - promise, limitations, and the future

We spoke to News Corp journalist Stuart Kavanagh for his take on AI’s usefulness in regional journalism.
In an Insider interview with Kavanagh he said when it comes to writing stories AI's current capabilities face notable limitations, particularly when it comes to nuanced reporting and interview situations.
"Most good stories live in the gray area, in the nuances, and AI doesn't do nuance," says Kavanagh.
He believes while AI can assist in building stories, it cannot fully replace human journalists, especially in face-to-face interviews and complex narrative development.
