Michael McLaren to helm 2GB Afternoons starting January 2024

McLaren, a familiar voice to 2GB listeners, began his journey with the station in 2006 as a program producer. He moved to on-air roles in 2011, initially hosting the Weekend Overnight show, and later leading the Monday-Friday Australia Overnights from 2016. In 2023, McLaren captivated audiences with 2GB's top-rated Weekend Mornings program.
McLaren shared his enthusiasm about his new role and called it an honour to host the Afternoons show.
