Thanks to The Age’s CBD duo - Stephen Brook and Kishor Napier-Raman - well known journo Niki Savva has got her identity back, though it hadn’t stopped a false X account posting during the election.
As the latest update from the reporters reveals, after months of trying, CBD succeeded in helping political commentator Savva get her identity back.
“Victory!” said Brook and Napier-Raman in The Age in the update this morning.
“After we went public with our column on Wednesday morning, the offending account impersonating Savva on X, @TheNikiSavva, hastily rebadged itself as “obviously a parody account”. Then it temporarily shut down while renaming itself “Lorem Ipsum” and changed its account handle to @nothingtosee697....
