Seven ditches Sunday Night

Seven West Media is shutting down current affairs show Sunday Night.
The plan calls for the show to operate on minimal crews and then finish up at the end of the year. Sunday Night’s cancellation is part of a network-wide restructure proposed by new CEO James Warburton this year.
“It has been a very tough decision in a very challenging TV landscape. I want to thank the exceptional team of reporters; producers; camera operators; editors and many others who have helped produce more than 500 hours of quality public affairs programming over its lifetime… I wish all those leaving us nothing but the best for the future,” said Seven Network news and public affairs director Craig McPherson.
