This milestone, marked by the signing of key agreements across defence, energy, and trade sectors, underscores the growing significance of bilateral ties between the two countries. According to the Times of India, the centrepiece of this collaboration is a defence Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at bolstering security cooperation and maritime coordination, a deal worth approximately $3 billion (INR 25,000 crore).
