Chennai Press Club seeks action against Seeman after journalist clash

The Chennai Press Club has taken to its official X handle to urge the Puducherry Police to take action against Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) coordinator Seeman for allegedly misbehaving with a journalist, as well as against party workers who reportedly manhandled media personnel during a press interaction in Villianur.
The incident unfolded on Sunday, November 23, during a press meet held alongside a consultative session of Puducherry and Cuddalore office bearers ahead of the 2026 Legislative Assembly election. Tensions escalated when a journalist questioned Seeman about the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise and the Centre’s rejection of Metro Rail project proposals for Coimbatore and Madurai.
