CPC hands out raincoats to journalists in Chennai

The Chennai Press Club (CPC), in association with Vooki, distributed raincoats to journalists on Saturday, November 22.
Greater Chennai City Police Commissioner A. Arun and Greater Chennai Corporation Commissioner J. Kumaragurubaran handed over the raincoats in the presence of senior journalists N. Ram, Director, THG Publishing Private Limited, and R. R. Gopal, Editor of Nakkeeran.
A total of 500 journalists received raincoats, said Sundara Bharathi, vice-president of CPC, while speaking to Influencing. She added that this was the first such initiative carried out.

The efforts of the Club were commended by the dignitaries present.
Chennai Press Club president Suresh Vethanayagam and general secretary Haseef Mohammed, along with other office bearers and members, were also present.
