Dharma Media to drive PR for India Internet Day 2025

Dharma Media Consultants has been named the official communications partner for India Internet Day 2025, organised by TiE Delhi-NCR. The 14th edition of the summit will be held on May 2 at The Leela Ambience, Gurugram, under the theme “Celebrating a Legacy, Investing in a Future.” The event will spotlight the ‘Super 25’—a curated list of India’s leading startups, investors, and changemakers. TV Today takes ABP to court over ‘Maha Dangal’ show title

TV Today Network has filed a case in the Delhi High Court against ABP News, alleging that the title of its show ‘Maha Dangal’ is deceptively similar to Aaj Tak’s long-running debate programme ‘Dangal’, according to Bar and Bench. Justice Amit Bansal issued notice on the petition and observed that viewers typically identify shows by their channel, noting that ‘Dangal’—also the title of a popular Bollywood film—cannot be exclusively trademarked. TV Today’s counsel, Hrishikesh Baruah, argued that ABP’s programme features former Aaj Tak anchor Priyanka Tripathi, who previously hosted ‘Dangal’, potentially causing confusion among viewers. However, the petition does not challenge her move to ABP, only the naming of the show. The Business of Tech podcast continues despite losing co-host

Peter Griffin, now solo-host of Business Desk NZ’s The Business of Tech podcast, says the format will remain the same following the departure of his former co-host, Ben Moore, from both the podcast and publication after a company restructure.   Griffin told Influencing, “I'm the sole host of it now, but really, it’s the same format. Former Business Desk NZ Technology Editor Ben Moore is setting his sights on a range of contract and freelance opportunities following his departure from the publication due to a company restructure by parent company NZME.  “I’m the master of my own destiny now.” Moore told Influencing, “Earlier this year, I was made aware of the restructuring at the company, and over the next two months, I learnt that my role would cease to exist.
