AMWJU to hold 15th Journalists’ Sports meet from March 3 to 7

The All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union (AMWJU) will organise the 15th Journalists’ Sports Meet 2026 from March 3 to March 7, following a resolution adopted at its Standing Committee meeting held on February 7.
Bona fide primary members, associate members and renewed temporary members will be eligible to participate.
The meet will open with a torch rally from Kangla to the Manipur Press Club on March 3. Athletics events will be held on March 4 at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium, followed by men’s volleyball matches near the Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium. Indoor games including table tennis, badminton and chess are scheduled for March 5 at the NSA Indoor Stadium.
