Central University of Punjab hosts AI Summit on journalism under IndiaAI Mission

The Central University of Punjab organised a one-day AI Impact Pre-Summit on AI in journalism under the IndiaAI Mission, bringing together academics, media professionals and students to deliberate on the expanding role of artificial intelligence in journalism, education and society.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Raghavendra Prasad Tiwari highlighted how AI is reshaping sectors such as agriculture, healthcare and education, and outlined the university’s plans to integrate AI-enabled teaching methodologies to strengthen assessment systems, learning processes and student support, while stressing the importance of ethical AI use and human judgment.
