King Kong taps new digital account manager

By Jonas Lopez in Marcoms News on

Digital marketing outfit King Kong has enlisted Adrian Epstein to lead its digital account management division, effective January 2020.

The move puts him in charge of a 14-strong group and will oversee activity for King Kong’s clients, plus handle retention and ROI. Epstein is coming over from Mindshare, which he left in October this year after two years leading its search team. He also worked with Columbus and Atomic212.

“As this was a strategic hire for us, we took the time to find the right person to ensure they had the skills set, were a good cultural fit, but would also be focused on delivering our 100% client commitment of success. We are a business on a steep upward trajectory and I believe this is largely due to our focus on generating real results for our clients. With Adrian’s experience in one of Australia’s leading agencies, he had the right mix of focus on people as well as clients. I can’t wait to see what Adrian can deliver for

Singer/songwriter Megan Washington will use a licenced cover of the Powderfinger song My Happiness as background music.

VMLY&R and Brisbane Marketing are supporting the video with multi-format content.

“We bloody love Brisbane – we know locals do as well – so it was important to partner with the Brisbane creative community, established and emerging, to help bring the brand idea to life.  We hope this campaign will drive Brisbane residents to share their love and passion for their great city,” said VMLY&R Brisbane managing director Adam Kennedy.
